Tiggy Corben

 MSc BSc(Hons) MACP AACSP

After qualifying in 1995, I worked in London at The Royal London Hospital before moving to The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. During this time I developed my musculo-skeletal skills including soft tissue manipulation, acupuncture and hydrotherapy. I then embarked on a Masters degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy at The University of Brighton where my main research focus was the assessment and treatment of athletes and dancers. My research on Hypermobility Syndrome was published in the International Journal of Physiotherapy Theory and Practice.

Following my Masters, I worked as a Specialist Practitioner at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and at the same time I worked in Private Practice in London before setting up my own practice here in Hampshire. Since 2015, I have worked as an Extended Orthopaedic Practitioner at The Royal Surrey County NHS Hospital in Guildford where I specialise in back and neck pain and I also work as a First Contact Practitioner in a local GP practice. In addition, I teach and examine physiotherapy students at The University of Southampton.

I am a member of the Health Professionals Council (HPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
